Maybell 4-H members participate in MC Fair
Maybell 4-H kids took all their completed projects to the 4-H completion day in Craig Tuesday. After interviews with judges, the kids attended the award program and fashion revue.

Congratulations to all Maybell kids who tried their best. Maybell is proud of all of you. Look for results of horse and livestock next week.

Maybell seniors dinner will be noon Aug. 12 at the Community Center. Bring a dish and 75 cents. The seniors bus will go to Craig Tuesday. To ride the bus, call Dave O’Connor.
The Maybell Community Center Board will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Community Center to discuss the bids for painting the outside of the building. All bids need to be mailed by Monday so they may be reviewed at the meeting. Send all bids to: P.O. Box 192, Maybell, CO 81640.
Maybell Library is having its Kids Story Hour from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. each Wednesday. Kids are doing arts and crafts and hearing stories from Donna Watkins and Elaine Calabro at the Craig library. The library has been getting new books each week. Maybell Library has computers with Internet access along with a fax and copier availability. Visit the Maybell Library.
The Maybell Park pavilion is available for reunions, company barbecues, weddings and receptions at no cost. For reservations, call Karen Burley or Dianne Gould.

After two days of competition at the Colorado State High School Rodeo Association State Finals, riders and ropers from Moffat and Routt counties are making their way into the home stretch.
