Mary Jo Brown: With sun and rain, a rainbow will appear
September 23, 2008
There’s a song that has the words “every day’s a new day” in it. Today is a new day, probably with sunshine in the morning and rain later on. I’ll take the sunshine and get as much done as I can and when the rain comes, I’ll hope it doesn’t last too long.
I’ll hope the sun comes out again, and together they’ll make a rainbow.
Whether that happens or not, I still have birthdays for Michelle Van Grandt and Dorothy Forshes. Get well/speedy recovery to Merle Moore, Donna Ward, Clair Villard and Phyllis Hunt.
Senior birthday takes place Wednesday at McDonalds for breakfast.
Preserving the Last Frontier meets at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the recreation room at Sunset Meadows I.
The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows. Bingo will follow.
