Mary Jo Brown: Senior Spotlight

I’m a puzzle person right now. Jigsaw puzzles are second to word puzzles of any kind.

I find Sudoku is not one of my puzzle favorites. They now have come up with Kakuro. It’s a number puzzle with basic math and logic skills. It’s an enjoyable challenge.

I can add up this week’s birthdays: Jaceson Van Grandy, Mary Ann Harrington and a very special birthday to Pat Moul, who is 100 years young this week.

Anyone with diabetes is welcome to attend a diabetes meeting from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Meadows I. The Sunset Meadows I potluck is at noon Friday, with bingo to follow.

We had a really good turnout Friday. Hope to see you all again this coming Friday.

Another good winter blues chaser is that Art Walk downtown, scheduled to run from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

A special get well/speedy recovery wish goes out to Ted Cochran. Call or come see me with news.
