Mary Jane Alexander: The benefit of shopping local
Craig — To the Editor:
On Jan. 29, I purchased a leather recliner at Homemaker Furnishing on Ranney Street in Craig. After shoulder surgery, I could not sleep in bed. I slept in that recliner for more than six weeks.
Needless to say, I ruined the matting or filling as I am a queen-sized old lady. I called the store, explaining the situation. They sent a very nice young man named Wes.
He not only fixed my chair, but also my husband’s recliner; we didn’t buy his at their store. Wes was so outgoing and personal.
Needless to say, we will be doing our furniture shopping with Homemaker Furnishing. Wow, what customer service.
Thank you to the store and Wes.
