Man rips out cable lines: On the record for July 27

1:26 a.m. At the Colorado Northwestern Community College Bell Tower building, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot. It belonged to the custodian.
1:36 a.m. On the 400 block of West 13th Street, officers responded to a report of verbal domestic violence.
10:37 a.m. On the 2200 block of Williams Lane, officers responded to a report of a criminal mischief. An employee of Charter Communications reported a male party was ripping out cable and/or phone lines, causing people to lose connectivity in the area. Officers contacted the possible perpetrator and are investigating the incident.
1:43 p.m. On the 700 block of Jeremiah Avenue, officers responded to a report of harassment by a neighbor who allegedly keeps reporting to animal control that the caller’s dog is out when it’s not. The caller’s cat then went missing and was found at Ridgeview, and she believed the neighbor possibly let the cat out.
3:29 p.m. At McDonald’s, officers responded to a report of a non-injury car crash between a Silver Toyota Highlander and a blue Ford pickup that hit each other in the drive-through. A citation was issued.
6:21 p.m. On the 900 block of Rose Street, officers responded to a report of a drunk pedestrian. On the bridge near 10th and Rose streets, a caller reported a female party was sleeping in the grass on the west side of the bridge and thinks someone should check on her. When officers contacted her, they found she was intoxicated and an ambulance transported her to be checked.
6:27 p.m. On the 1200 block of East Victory Way, officers responded to a report of fraud. Someone was scammed out of $700 through the purchase of a dog over the internet. The caller sent the money but no dog arrived.
7:10 p.m. On the 2200 block of West Third Street, officers responded to a report of harassment and a disturbance involving exes. They ran into each other at Walmart and a male party started harassing a female party over getting some property back. They returned to a residence to get the property back and agreed to leave each other alone.
9:02 a.m. On the 1000 block of Sage Court, community services personnel in Craig responded to a code enforcement call. A resident was issued a verbal warning for a code violation.
