Man found in abandoned home: On the record Feb. 15

12:03 a.m. On the 2000 block of Baker Drive, officers responded to a report of harassment. A woman found items on her vehicle that might have been related to a man who had, in the past, harassed and intimidated her. Officers spoke to the man about the incident.
7:22 a.m. On the 600 block of Colorado Street, officers responded to a suspicious person. A caller said a male had entered a neighboring trailer he was previously evicted from. Officers arrived on scene and did not find the man in the trailer, but saw tracks leading from the back of the trailer to a second abandoned residence, where he was found. The 35-year-old man was charged with first degree burglary, first degree trespass, four counts of violating bail bond conditions, theft between $50 and 300, criminal mischief and failure to leave property upon request.
8:12 a.m. At the intersection of East Ninth and Rose streets, officers responded to a crash. Two cars collided at the intersection. Both were driven from the scene. The parties involved exchanged information.
9:53 a.m. In Craig, officers responded to a report of a juvenile who walked away from school.
1:02 p.m. In Craig, officers responded to a case of potential child abuse. CPD and the Department of Human Services are investigating.
1:22 p.m. At the East Kum & Go, officers responded to a report that a male came in and asked clerks for a list of people who came in without identification. Officers were familiar with the man and plan to speak to him about why he was seeking the information.
2:22 p.m. Officers responded to a report of theft of cash at Craig Middle School.
2:47 p.m. On the 600 block of East Sixth Street, officers responded to a suspicious incident. A caller believed there was a burglary. Items in the home were out of place, but nothing was found to be missing.
4:02 p.m. On the 900 block of Ranney Street, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief. A neighbor saw kids throw something at a vehicle, which did not appear to be damaged. The caller did not file a report but decided to speak with the parents of the children.
7:47 p.m. On the 400 block of Tucker Street, officers responded to a report of domestic violence between a male and female. The incident is under investigation.
12:14 a.m. Near the intersection of West First Street and Colorado State Highway 13, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. Craig police said they issued a bicyclist a citation. Police responded to at least one other traffic stop Monday.
