What a beautiful Parade of Lights! The lighting, the music, the floats — all of it — what a way to welcome in the Christmas spirit And a BIG "Thank You" to the organizers and participants who so graciously took the parade up Ledford Street past the senior housing, Sunset Meadows, and up on to Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab Center. The residents of both facilities thoroughly enjoyed watching the magic unfold! Thank you so much!
Perhaps an old tradition has been revived? In years past, all of the holiday parades marched and rode past our two senior complexes. The parade route used to always include Ledford Street, much to the enjoyment of the residents living there. But in recent years, the route had changed and Ledford Street was no longer included. This year the Moffat County High School's wonderful Homecoming Parade had so many participants, including the schools and organizations with their respective floats, walkers, vehicles, horses and of course, the very talented High School Band and they definitely revived the old tradition; and Ledford Street was once again included in the parade route. The Sunset Meadows folks, in their decorated van and the Sandrock Ridge folks, riding on a musical float, even participated in this year's Homecoming Parade!
Our Community really showed their support, love and enthusiasm in supporting these two events and many, many people were (and are) appreciative of that support.
Thank you Craig America!
