Local woman receives Phi Theta Kappa award

Holly Tanner of Craig received the Distinguished Chapter Officer Award for The Beta Epsilon Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Colorado Northwestern Community College during an awards ceremony at the 2005 Phi Theta Kappa International Convention.

This year, nearly 500 chap-ters competed for the Society’s most-coveted awar-ds. The Hallmark Awards Program is the society’s capstone awards competition annually recognizing excellence in programs that promote the Phi Theta Kappa Hallmarks of scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. Exceptional members, officers, advisers, college administrators and chapters are recognized annually at the Phi Theta Kappa International Convention for their achievements.
