Local channel to carry new network

William and Mary Engler, owners of Moffat County television station K27FA, announced that K27FA Television will carry a new television network beginning later this month.
The network, America 1 Television, offers a variety of family programs 24 hours a day. The network features a lineup that includes children’s shows, sports, nostalgic Hollywood movies, classic television series, time-honored Westerns, outdoor and fitness programs, and music.
“We’re delighted with the opportunity to bring quality programs to Craig and Moffat County,” William Engler said.
The new channel guide will be available soon in the Craig Daily Press.
“We explored several networks that were available after our contract with The Outdoor Channel was completed,” Engler said, “and America l offered our best choice we felt for viewers.”
Due to obligations of The Outdoor Channel, its program service for on-the-air television is no longer available.

Outdoor shows on America I include club golf, extreme championship wrestling, fantasy baseball and football, In Pursuit, and Links Illustrated. Other sports shows include championship truck and tractor pulling, National Wrestling Association (NWA) wrestling, raceline, real tree outdoors, sports pies, and sports truck connection.
Mary Engler said K27FA regular news and local sports programs will continue as they have in the past. Local news is aired Monday through Friday and K27FA also broadcasts Moffat County High School football and volleyball, as well as other special events on broadcast channel 27, 43 and 45, and on cable channel 17 in Craig.
