Linda Taylor: What’s stopping you? Fear
Why are you afraid to take the step that could give you eternal life — no, not here on earth — but your afterlife?
The Bible tells us you’re going to live forever.
John 3:15 says “that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
You need to decide: Is it going to be heaven or hell before it’s too late? Please, don’t put this article down. If you’re not afraid, you will continue to read. Why? Because it might be your last chance to hear about your future.
People have said to me, “How do you know what you’re talking about? You don’t understand what I’m going through. Don’t judge me so quickly. You don’t know me any better than I know you.”

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
Are you lonely? I’ve been there. Are you sad? I’ve been there. How about hurting? Been there, too.
I’ve also wondered if anyone truly cared about what happened to me. As they say, been there and done that, and that is why I’m writing this article to you. You see, I truly do care.
You may be a stranger to me, or you may be a friend, or a family member. No matter what, I just want to see you in heaven. That’s how much I care for you.
You knew the answer without me telling you — it’s Jesus Christ. You’re just too afraid to make that step because it might not work, or you think you’re not good enough.
Oh, there are so many excuses we make, but all those excuses do is keep us away from the peace and love we all desire in this life.
This is what Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 — “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
I had to decide once to either let fear or people make my decision, or take a step toward Jesus, and see if he truly loves me for who I am.
I have never been sorry about my decision. Is my life perfect?
No, and it’s not going to be, for you see I quit looking for perfect a long time ago. Now, I look for peace. Instead of living in fear, I live in peace knowing that I’m going to live forever in heaven, and I don’t have to face whatever comes into my life with fear because I have a Lord and Savior who is walking with me.
Try Jesus. You have nothing to fear but fear itself.
God Bless everyone.
