Linda Kay Eberle: 1947-2004

Linda Kay Eberle of Fort Morgan died Oct. 17, 2004, at her home after a long bout with brain cancer. She was 57.

Eberle was born July 16, 1947, in Yakima, Wash., to Harlow and Thilda Brownawell.

Eberle graduated from high school in Craig, Colo., then graduated with her teaching degree from UNC. She married Jim Eberle March 22, 1970, in Craig. She taught special education in Pueblo for three years then moved to Sioux Falls, S.D., for two years.



The couple moved to Fort Morgan in 1977. She was employed by SHARE and the Boy Scouts of America. She substituted for teachers in Fort Morgan until her illness forced her retirement in 2002.

Eberle is survived by her husband, Jim Eberle, of Fort Morgan; daughter, Kristi Baltazar, of Evans; son, Brian Eberle, of Fort Morgan; brother, Jeff Brownawell, of The Woodlands, Texas; and two grandchildren.



Eberle was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan.

Interment will be held at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
