Library organizes several events

— The Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., has several upcoming events:

– The Puzzle of the Dinosaurs is the theme of story-time at 10 and 11 a.m. Thursday. How were they discovered? What do paleontologists do? Stories and crafts help solve the mystery.

– On Saturday, the Craig branch features a celebration of the newest Harry Potter book, “Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.” Join the Harry Potter party from 2 to 4 p.m. for crafts, games, trivia challenges and book reviews. Wizard costumes are welcome. Snacks and prizes are provided.

– Science Mysteries will be featured at story-time at 11 a.m. July 26 at the south side of Craig City Park. Take sunscreen and a hat, as well as lunch and a drink, weather permitting.

– The Summer Reading Program ends July 27. Take reading logs to the library before that date to receive prizes.

– On Aug. 2, the library hosts a completion party for the Summer Reading Program.

– Regular school year story times resume Aug. 9, with gatherings at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. every Thursday followed by activity time.

For information on any of these activities, call the library at 824-5116.
