Liane Eastman

Liane Eastman, RN, BSN, home-health and hospice nurse for Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is currently enrolled in study to specialize as a wound, ostomy and continence nurse.

The course is a one year program that includes a home study didactic component and 160 hours of clinical instruction under the supervision of Janie Arndt RN, CNS, CWOCN at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.

Upon completion, Liane will be a certified wound, ostomy and continence nurse and will be able to provide hands-on care in the acute, outpatient, nursing home and home-care settings to patients with ostomies, wounds and incontinence issues.

This includes providing direct patient care as well as education to the patient and their significant others.
