Letters to Santa takes place at Craig Daily Press Wednesday
December 15, 2015
The annual Letters to Santa event is sure to bring smiles to Craig's youth today from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the Craig Daily Press.
Children can stop by the newspaper, get their photo taken with Santa and tell him what they'd like to see under the tree Christmas morning.
“Letters to Santa is a highlight of our year. It's wonderful to see all the kids come in with amazement in their eyes and hopes for that perfect Christmas wish to share with Santa," said Daily Press Publisher Renee Campbell. "Come on down to the Craig Daily Press and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, cookies and a visit with Santa."
For the past several weeks, the newspaper has accepted Christmas wishes in the form of letters for Santa Claus. A template for letters is inside Monday’s newspaper on page 8. Letter templates are also available for pick-up at the Daily Press and the Bank of Colorado.
Parents and children are encouraged to fill out letters and drop them off at the newspaper by 6 p.m. today. All received letters will appear in the Dec. 23 edition of the Craig Daily Press.
Quality Plus 1 Hour Photo owner Robert Libbee expressed excitement about capturing Santa moments for children again this year.

"We get a kid up there that absolutely adores Santa — it's fun to watch, that's for sure," Libbee said.
The cost is $10 for an 8×10 photo, two 5x7s or 8 wallets.
Bank of Colorado staff will be serving hot chocolate, cookies and snacks to parents and their children.
"We are thankful for our partners Bank of Colorado, One Hour Photo Processing, Walgreens and Mr. and Mrs. Claus, because without you, this wouldn’t be possible," Campbell said.
