Letter to Editor: Support of Carol Scott

To the editor:

I worked in the Moffat County Assessor’s Office for 20 years. I worked quite a few years with both assessor candidates.

I am supporting Carol Scott for assessor. She is fair, intelligent, and highly-trained for this office.

She will bring her many years of experience in various jobs at the assessor’s office with her.

This office will probably be decided in the Republican primary.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

This primary is coming up soon, and a Republican registration is required to vote for this and the treasurer’s office. Independents can declare a party at the time they vote if they wish to vote in the primary.

Since the local offices will probably be decided at the primary level, I urge you to get out and vote.
