Letter: A definition of insanity
To the editor:
One very good definition you have probably heard is the following line:
Doing something the same way you have always done it, and expecting a different result.
(I believe I have to first say to anyone reading this, though I write quite a bit using the opinion of the Bears Ears Tea Party Patriots of Craig, this letter is my opinion. It is also the opinion of many in our tea party group, but not the opinion of all in our group.)
As you ponder the above statement on insanity, I would like to ask you a question.
Does this apply to electing politicians?
If we keep electing so called conservatives and yet they stand against small government, and we expect them get government out of the way, are we not insane?
I am going to take the tea party patriot national stand on an issue: The issue of repealing Obamacare.
I agree with the tea party patriot national stand of not voting for someone who does not say they will REPEAL Obamacare.
And on that note I have received a letter from our House Representative in this district, Scott Tipton.
The letter sounds like it is from a conservative, until you get to the part of what to do about getting rid of Obamacare.
Mr. Tipton does not say he wants to REPEAL the law, but he wishes to reform the law. Meaning to me, leave the Federal Government in charge of our healthcare.
I think it is time for a change. And I think we need to look at an alternative.
That alternative should be Tisha Casida. She will vote to REPEAL this law.
We need as Americans to do what is best for America.
What is your opinion?
If you would like to see a very good editorial about Tisha Casida and Scott Tipton from the Vail Paper, here is a link: http://www.vaildaily.com/article/2012120819926
