Laura Weber Herold

Little Snake River Valley resident Laura Weber Herold died Sept. 8, 2003, at Valley View Healthcare Center in Saratoga.

She was 93.

Herold was born Aug. 16, 1910, in Baggs, Wyo., to Henry and Leah Clark Weber. She married George Herold in July 1929 in Craig.

Herold raised large gardens and beautiful flowers, especially iris and geraniums. She was a faithful church member who seldom missed a Sabbath. She was devoted to the welfare of her children.

Herold is survived by two sons Donald (Gertrude) Herold, of Saratoga, and Lorell (Carol) Herold, of Kearns, Utah; two daughters Rebecca (Ross), of Hillsboro, Ore., and Evelyn (Albert) Robidoux, of Rawlins; two sisters Ruth Berglund, of Spokane, Wash., and Alice Cobb, of Grass Valley, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Herold was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1960; three sons; two grandsons; four brothers; and one sister.

Graveside services were held at the Baggs Cemetery Sept. 11, 2003, with Elder Lorell Herold officiating.
