CRAIG — Two local charities are each $1,500 better off as thanks to gifts from the Knights of Columbus, Council 4131, from its annual Tootsie Roll drive.
This year, members of the Knights of Columbus — Catholic fraternal benefit society — raised $3,000 from sales of Tootsie Rolls throughout the community.
The group expressed thanks to those who participated.
“We were able to donate $1,500 to Horizons Specialized Services of Moffat County and another $1,500 to Northwest Colorado Health Hospice of Moffat County because of your generosity,” said JR Ewing. “Thank you so much. Have a Merry Christmas and blessed 2019.”
Northwest Colorado Health Hospice staff receive a $1,500 check from the Knights of Columbus Council 4131 from funds they raised by selling Tootsie Rolls.
