Kiwanis play ticket sale kicks off at annual party
CRAIG — Tickets went on sale Saturday for the 72nd annual Craig Kiwanis Club Play. The satirical take on current events sells out annually, and this year’s play will be performed March 2 and 3 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.
Between 35 and 40 people had purchased tickets midway through this year’s ticket sales kickoff party at JW Snack’s Bar & Grill. Tables are offered during a pre-sale, and remaining tickets become available for individuals to purchase at the kickoff party. Tickets are $200 for a table or $20 per person.
“It’s a good way for the community to blow off some steam and do good for their community,” said PJ Nichols, Kiwanis play chairman. Money raised by ticket sales will fund scholarships for Moffat County High School students and community projects.
Tickets will not be available at the door, but any remaining after Saturday’s sales event will be for sale at Northwest Pawn Shop.

His journal spoke of the journey in painted language, of the nightly heavens hovering over towering canyons, of disastrous setbacks at the hands of Colorado’s raging rivers. He bounced his voice off Dinosaur National Monument’s canyon walls at Echo Park, giving the park its name and its place on an accurate map for the first time more than a century ago.
