Kevin Allen: Thank you from a solider

To the editor:

I am a Craig resident currently deployed with the United States Navy with a Combined Joint Task Force in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, which caused me to be out of the country during my 30th wedding anniversary. I would like to commend the Flower Mine Gift Shop, and specifically the owner Shirley Balleck, for making this day special for my wife Shelly. I contacted her before I left Craig in October and set up for the delivery in April, giving her free reign on design and a general price range. When our big day came, Shirley came in considerably under the budget I had given her and delivered two beautiful flower arrangements, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to increase the surprise. Thank you to the Flower Mine Gift Shop and the residents of Craig for the continued support of our military.
