Kent Ketchum: Love our firefighters

To the editor:

On Feb. 7, two members of the Craig Rural Fire Department came to our facility (Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab) and did a fire extinguisher class for our staff. We were shown how to tell if the extinguisher is correct for the type of fire, how to operate the extinguisher and the proper approach to fight the fire. The training is very good to have, and all the staff felt as though they could safely operate and remove the risk should the need arise. To firefighters Kernen and Slaight, thank you very much. Craig should be proud to have such a professional firefighting team.

Thanks again,

Kent Ketchum
