Karen Brown: Downtown businesses value input
I would like to respond to a couple of letters written to the editor in the Feb. 12 edition of the Craig Daily Press.
A very unfortunate experience was frustrating a local shopper. The downtown as a whole is trying very hard to improve our image and to encourage local people to shop local. We do value the input of local customers and will use what we learn to try to improve. Local businesses do value every customer and hope to keep every customer happy. Thanks for the letter, and hopefully your next experience will be a positive one.
The other letter was about loving the small town feeling. Thanks for expressing the positive experiences that you have had as a newcomer to town. We are thrilled that you feel welcome and hope all of your encounters will be good ones. Thanks for the letter, and welcome to Craig.
