Judi Whilden : Thank you
To the editor:
Big thanks to McDonald’s of Craig for helping our fundraiser be a success. On Wednesday Colorado Northwestern Community College had a fundraiser for their Early Childhood Education Scholarship fund. ECE students are eligible for a scholarship through the Race to the Top Challenge Fund sponsored by the state of Colorado. Our goal is to match that fund. This event brought us closer to our goal. I want to thank the many volunteers who showed up to help behind the counter at McDonalds. Special thanks to the following people: Carol Taylor, Stephanie Davis, Charla Delitt, Tanya Ferguson, Rosie Crosswaite, Suzie Coleman, Cheree Walker, Lila Douglas, Amy Coupe, Shawna Muhme and Trish Snyder. Special thanks to Moffat County School District for allowing us to distribute our fliers throughout the schools. I also want to thank all the people from CNCC who came out to support the ECE program. Finally, thanks to all the people who took time out of their evening to dine at McDonald’s and help our fundraiser be the success that it was.
