Johnny Garcia: Veterans Service officer
I would like to inform veterans from World War II, Korea and Viet Nam that the time for high school diplomas has not lapsed. Veterans still are eligible to apply with the Veterans Service Office at the Colorado Work Force Center, 480 Barclay St. The time to apply is now.
Also, I would like to have families of veterans from Sept. 11, 2001, who have served in the armed rorces as combatants and noncombatants to call me at 824-3246 or drop by and let me know where the veterans served and the names of veterans so their names can be read aloud at the annual Hometown Heroes picnic, which will be at the city park behind the VFW on May 21.
Sincerely,
Johnny Garcia
Veterans Service officer
