Jennifer Bugay: Thanks to those who helped with float

To the editor:

As the sponsoring business of the Junior class float, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people and businesses that made it possible:

• Dan Kawcak at Western United Realty providing a warehouse for us to build the float in.

• Tyler at Rocky Mountain TLC for donating carpet tubes Robert at Northwest Auto Glass for donating cardboard boxes.

• Frank at Snyder and Counts for providing feed sacks used to hand out candy.

• Billy and Robin McDermott for graciously agreeing to pull the float in the parade, pull it around the track at halftime, and also tearing down the float afterwards.

• Dave DeRose for generously loaning us the trailer to build the float on.

• Mrs. Ferree for buying the kids pizza and running around getting supplies.

• Mrs. Harjes for being there each and every night to provide supervision and an encouraging spirit.

• Mr. Gaines for volunteering his evenings.

• Jeff Schlim, Levi Collins, Evan Gaffney, and Mr. Schnellinger for making appearances throughout the week.

Thank you most of all to the Booster Club for coming up with the idea for businesses sponsorship and for increasing class participation.

Yampa Valley Bank was proud to be involved. Thank you to all the GREAT kids I got to work with and get to know a little better.

You did a fantastic job.
