Jeffrey Ryan Walker, of Craig, died Aug. 18, 2002, near St. Anthony, Idaho. He was 23.

Walker was born on Feb. 28, 2002, in Ogden, Utah, to Randy and Becky (Mason) Walker. The family moved to Craig when Walker was 2 years old. He was raised and attended school in Craig.

Walker was working as a carpenter in Jackson, Wyo., at the time of his death. He enjoyed snowboarding, snowmachining, waterskiing, wake boarding and spending time with his girlfriend, Ashley Roberts.

Walker is survived by his mother and step-father, Becky and Dennis Otis, of Craig; father and step-mother, Randy and Dawn Walker, of Craig; sister, Erin Walker, of Craig; niece, Madison Ryan, who is to be born in September; half-sisters, Terrisa and Sarah Walker and Johnna McIntyer, all of Craig; step brothers, Ryan Otis, of Craig, and Eric Otis, of Maryland; grandmother, Carol Neu, of Craig; grandfather, Clarence Walker, of Craig; and his girlfriend, Ashley Roberts, of Craig.

Services were Aug. 23, 2002, at the Grant Mortuary Chapel with Gay Albers officiating. The organist was Anne Carr and selections were “The Free Bird,” “Turn the Page” and “I Miss My Friend.”

Honorary pallbearers were all his many friends.

Services concluded at the mortuary.
