Jeff and Fran Hammond: A thanks to Craig’s teachers and schools

To the editor:

We moved here in 1999 from Elizabeth, Colo. It was not a happy move, but we knew good things would come.

In our 10 years in Craig, we have successfully raised our children to become achieving citizens. We would like to say “thank you” to all the teachers and school administration who have worked with our children. A thank you goes out to all sports coaches from baseball, soccer, wildcat cheerleading and anyone else who has coached our children.

My husband and I would like to thank our employers in this town for the opportunities they have given us.

To all we have come in contact with, from kids coached on the soccer field and in the gym, to those we have had acquaintances with, those we have worked with, and those who have become great friends, we will miss you all. As of Aug. 29, we will start a new journey in Broomfield.

Thanks again for everything.

Jeff and Fran Hammond,

of Craig, and soon-to-be of Broomfield
