Janette Harris: Thanks from seniors
To the editor:
Once again I am just amazed at the kind-hearted, wonderful people who live in Craig. This year, as they always have done in the past, they opened their wallets and gave so lovingly to Christmas For Seniors. We also got many items donated that we were able to give to the senior citizens in our community. It is so fun to see the lights in their eyes when we delivered the “care packages” — our seniors are so very appreciative.
Special thanks go to Mike Williams at the Super Car Wash; Cody Ransburger at Kmart; United Way and Corrie Ponikvar; Ted Taylor at Murdoch’s; Spirit Pass; Craig Parks and Rec Department; Nancy and CJ at Flint Personnel; MCHS Girls’ Swim Team; Torie Cook; Christine Harris; and Heidi, Savannah and Lynn Meyring. Frank, Tammie, Mike and Rick at KRAI deserve loads of credit — without the Holiday Drive, there would be no funds to run Christmas for Seniors! Other special people are LaDawn and Tobi at Accent on Beauty; Bev Rubley at Sandrock Ridge Beauty Salon; Sherri Kurz at Sunset Meadows; Heather and Sasha at Village Inn; the Culverwell hunters; Oveta Harris and the Reyes girls.
Make our seniors’ day by greeting them with a smile, holding a door open for them, and letting them know you are thinking of them.
