CRAIG — Local Girl Scout Troops will be setting up cookie booths at City Market and Walmart in Craig Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24 and 25, to sell boxes of yummy goodness and benefit the organization.

The Girl Scout Cookie drive teaches girls entrepreneurial skills and gives them a taste of what it takes to be successful — teamwork, planning and a positive outlook.

Proceeds stay local and help support new experiences.

“Whether it’s a trip she’ll never forget, a service project that will change her community forever or the opportunity to build a lifetime of memories at camp, Girl Scout Cookies help make it all happen,” according to the All About Cookies fact sheet.

Cookie sales continue through March 11. Locals interested in buying cookies may also go online to the Cookie Locator, cookielocator.littlebrownie.com, and enter the zip code to find locations and times of cookie booth sales.
