Irene Beard: Thanks for helping hand

To the editor:

Thanks for giving us a helping hand with our guild.

We are now the Yampa Valley Piecemakers Quilt Guild and are now 26 members strong and still looking for new membership.

In the future, we have Judy Zehner giving a class on quilted legends, a tour of museum quilts at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, an auction that’s open to the public and much more.

We are in need of quilts to be hung at Wyman Museum for the fall display. You do not have to be a member of the guild to participate. If you have a quilt grandma or an aunty made, or one you have made and would lend to us for display, call me and make arrangements for pick up or delivery.

I can be reached at 701-9757.

We have a display going on year round at the museum and would love to have you wander through and take a gander.

Irene Beard

Yampa Valley Piecemakers Quilt Guild,

community chairperson
