Interfaith Food Bank: Food bank success

To the editor

Our local postal workers recently assisted by our giving community collected 5,680 pounds of food and more than $300 cash for the Interfaith Food Bank.

This collection was well timed as the shelves were looking a bit bare due to the increased need for food assistance we have seen this year. The donations collected Saturday will fill the shelves for another 4 to 6 weeks.

The members of the Food Bank are grateful for the continued support that we receive from Moffat County residents.
