Indoor shooting range will be huge benefit to the community

To the Editor:

I am 75 years old and retired on a fixed income that is supplemented at times by substituting at the high school.

I walk, ride a bicycle, shoot pistol or service rifle in the summer and walk or snow shoe in the winter. A membership at Trapper Health Club allows me to lift weights, run on the treadmill and take Yoga classes for flexibility year around. Being retired, I am usually able to lift or run when the club is not crowded.

I am in favor of the proposed recreation center because it will give me a safe place to walk with my wife in the winter, allow me to shoot or coach year around and have improved weight and aerobic rooms. My wife may also be able to take advantage of the pool facilities.

Early voting has started at the Moffat County Clerk’s Office and absentee ballots are available.

Please vote for the recreation center.
