A multitude of music will be available in Northwest Colorado this weekend.

As part of the Western Slope Concert Series, Il Divo Colorado will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Moffat Couny High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.

The trio of singers from Colorado Mesa University includes Mathew Coronado, David Siemens and Kyle Thompson, who bring a range of melodies to the stage, including both operatic material and contemporary tunes.

The group’s tour has included stops in Ouray and Montrose before ending with a show Saturday in Grand Junction.

A different sound will be playing Friday and Saturday nights for those who visit Cassidy’s Bar and Lounge at the Clarion Inn & Suites, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.

Colorado native country music songstress Carol Rose will perform for patrons in a set that has no cover charge and lasts until midnight.

Originally from Oak Creek, Carol Rose has played in the region on many occasions and also took her talents to Las Vegas for a number of years. Among the honors she has received was an induction into the Seattle Western Music Society’s Hall of Fame.
