Hospital, school measures pass

With the majority of all ballots officially counted both tax questions in the November 2007 election have passed.
Dinosaur and Maybell counts are not official, but have been called in.
Referendum 1 A – which is a $42.6 million tax question, which would pay for the construction of a new hospital – earned 56 percent of the yes votes.
Referendum 3A – which is a $29.5 million School District initiative to fund a new Craig Middle School and renovations to all district campuses – garnered 64 percent of the yes votes.
The unofficial voter turnout number is 3,168.
Results from Craig have both tax questions passing – 1A with 737 yes votes and 633 no votes; and 3A with 910 votes yes, and 460 votes no.

Early and absentee ballots had both question passing – 1A with 1,016 yes votes and 648 no votes, and 3A with 1,064 yes votes, and 600 no votes.
Early results from Dinosaur have both tax questions failing – 1A with 4 votes for yes, and 35 no votes, and 3A with 8 votes and 31 votes.
Early results from Maybell have 1A failing – 25 yes votes and 40 no votes, and 3A passing – 33 yes votes and 32 no votes.
Results from Hamilton had both measure failing – 1A with 14 yes votes and 16 no votes; and 3A with 13 yes votes and 17 no votes.
