Hickenlooper to visit Craig today at 11:30 a.m.
Today is the day: Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper will be in Craig at 11:30 a.m. at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion to visit with the community about a variety of issues.
His visit to the area is just one stop that’s included in his tour of western Colorado.
As a reminder, the location for Hickenlooper’s visit has changed due to the high number of participants registered for the event.
The Department of Local Affairs notified Audrey Danner, interim director of the Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership, that the governor will now visit with community members at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion, not the Colorado Northwestern Community College as originally planned.
Those wanting to attend the event should contact Danner at 970-620-4370.
This year, a handful of Moffat County High School graduates are setting out to carry on the family tradition. From business to education, these students plan to follow in the footsteps their parents and in some cases, grandparents and great-grandparents.
