Sean McMahill and Cory Jenkins were united in marriage Oct. 23 at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ron Jenkins of Montrose, Colo. A reception followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins of Fort Collins, Colo., and the Stan Zubers family from Hayden were among the out-of-town guests.
The Booster Club needs to be commended on the job they did on the Halloween carnival, the exhibit hall and haunted house at the sale barn. It was an event for people to enjoy plus being a fund-raiser for the school.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hayes of Craig and Pat Culver of Hayden hosted a 25th wedding anniversary party for Tim and Tina Frentress at the Legion Hall Oct. 23. About 70 guests had a potluck meal and visited. Pat Culver made the three-tier cake.
Jim and Dolores Solace and Jim’s sister and husband moved their father, Alva, from Valley View Manor in Craig to a nursing home in Fruita, Colo.

Kevin and Ann Copeland and Dick and Brenda Williams returned home from a week-long vacation to Cancun, Mexico.
Mark and Chris Klapperich and daughter, Anna, were in Denver to attend the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos game.
Megan Copeland is in Gypson, Colo., training for employment with American Airlines.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Linsacum and three sons of Craig left Nov. 4 for New York for Jnl to run a 26-mile marathon. What an experience for the family.
Elaine Dimmick has had extensive surgery on her hands due to severe arthritis.
Mr. and Mrs. David Zehner and children have moved into a new home on the Middle Cog Road.
At their last home game of the season Oct. 29, the Hayden High School football team celebrated parents’ night.
Dan and Jerod Faucett arrived home Nov. 3. The Faucett family has been on the West Coast this past summer where Jerod received a bone marrow transplant. A group of local people were at the airport to welcome them home. On Thursday, Kathy, Kimberly and other relatives returned with the family goods that were accumulated during their summer stay. Welcome home!
The Routt County Farm Bureau annual banquet and business meeting was held Nov. 9 at the Steamboat Community Center. C’s Catering served the buffet banquet. Katy Louthan provided the entertainment. There were several drawings for prizes.
John Gossert underwent surgery on his hand at Porters Hospital in Denver. He is home and doing well.
Funeral services were held for Ryan Empson of Craig at the Congregational Church in Hayden Nov. 3. A meal was prepared after services for the family and their friends in the parish hall by the Women’s Fellowship Club and several other ladies from the community.
