Peabody Coal and Development Company brought in a group of teen boys from Denver. Along with sponsors they camped at the former Dunning home south of Hayden. We are happy to report that the young men all had a successful hunt.
Memorial services were held for Mildred V. Yoast at Grant Mortuary in Craig Oct. 23, 1999. Beryl Wright officiated. Organist was Avis Funk; soloist Gretchen Hayes.
Chloe Pettry Peterson has been ill. Family and friends are keeping tabs on her each day. Get well soon Chloe!
Joe and Mickie Walker celebrated Mickie’s, birthday two weekes ago with a mini vacation in Steamboat Springs.
Susan Kopehler recently enjoyed a trip to Wisconsin to visit, then got to bring a beautiful new car home. Wow!
The Hayden High School volleyball team, their parents and grand parents celebrated parents’ night at the game Friday evening Oct. 22. Parents and grandparents received roses, the team members received balloons and goodie bags.

Week before last the Women’s Cancer Support Group from Steamboat Springs, Craig and Hayden held a pot luck dinner at the Hayden elementary cafeteria. Twelve ladies were able to attend. They shared a meal and fellowship.
Myrtle Rhodes was a patient at the Routt Memorial Hospital. She is doing well at home.
