Autumn Todd, Sam and Misty Jenkins, Megan Copeland and Nathaniel Archuleta attended the Broncos game on Aug. 30.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Boyd spent the Labor Day weekend visiting family in Denver.
Mr. and Mr. Doug Doolin returned home from Iowa where they attended the funeral of Ann’s mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Mel Richardson and two sons spent Labor Day weekend in Grand Junction, Colo., with Elzie’s parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kostur returned home from a hunting trip to Canada hunting caribou. They vacationed with friends from Missouri.
School began Sept. 6 in Hayden. It seems as though everyone was ready for the 1999-2000 year.

Mr. and Mrs. Zane Louthan and three sons moved last week to Phippsburg where they will live on a ranch.
Seth Copeland celebrated his 13th birthday at the Hayden Town Park Sept. 6. Guests were the Copeland families. Special guest was his great-grandmother, Thelma Holderness.
Mr. and Mrs. Brent Barnes of Craig are the proud parents of a son, Breyden Charles, born Sept. 7 at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Don Guthrie of Craig. Maternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernie King of CaCity, Colo. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Barnes of Hayden. Great-grandparents are Carol Rickman and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Barnes of Hayden. Great-great-grandmother is Marjorie Briggs of Cameron, West Va., and the late Cleota Hutchins of North Carolina.
Amy Smith, the daughter of Dr. Stephen Smith and Ron and Jean Kashner, was married Aug. 21 to Kevin O’Donnell, son of Elizabeth O’Connell of Deep River, Conn. Smith’s family and friends attended from Denver and Steamboat Springs and O’Connell’s family and friends from Connecticut along with shared friends from all over the country. The wedding was held at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Steamboat Springs and the reception was held at the Steamboat Community Center. After a honeymoon on St. Lucia Island in the Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Denver.
Taylor Hagar celebrated her second birthday Aug. 26 at Elkhead Reservoir. Those who shared the fun time were grandmother, Darlene Rolando; Jim, Tim and Danny Rolando and families; Rick and Deana Voeltzel and family’ Aleana Scott and daughter, Abbey; grandparents, Roy and Lorraine Hagar; brothers, Jordon and Lane; and the May family. Mom, Tammy, and dad, Craig, made the party picture perfect.
