Hayden — Mr. and Mrs. Craig Weaver were in Salt Lake City, Utah, Aug. 6-8 to celebrate their grandson, Riley’s, birthday.
Roseann Puff from Santa Barbara, Calif., was in Hayden visiting the Bob Barnes family the week of Aug. 15.
Mr. And Mrs. Tim Rolando went to Lamar, Wyo., last week for the death of Christy’s aunt.
Vonnie Frentress left for Casper, Wyo., last week to be with her mother who is critically ill. The children are staying with the Charlie Epp family.
Lela Oberg was moved from the Haven Assisted Living Facility to Valley View Manor in Craig last week. Lela and Emily Benedict are sharing a room.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Smith hosted a family barbecue Aug. 15 in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Briggs and Roseann Puff.
Tammy Boutwell took her grandmother, Marjorie Briggs, to Grand Junction, Colo., for a mini vacation.
Veronica Lozinsky and Jesse Diderrich of Hayden, Colo., announce the birth of their daughter, Gabrielle Diderrich born Aug. 9, 1999, at The Craig Memorial Hospital in Craig, Colo. Gabrielle weighed six pounds, seven ounces and measured 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are John and Kathy Lozinsky of Hayden.
Paternal grandparents are Eddie Bugay of Craig, Colo., and Sherry Bugay of Denver.
The Class of 1979 held its class reunion the week of Aug. 8. Classmates and spouses had dinner at Signal Hill in Craig Aug. 14. On Aug. 15 they gathered at the Hayden Park for a potluck picnic. Persons from out of town were: Kelley and Jeff Potter, Rocky Bowdish and family, David Wyman, Brenda Forbes and Karen and Larry Hughes.
Mr. and Mrs. Walt Sidwell were in Hayden for the Routt County Fair and Rodeo. They came especially to watch their granddaughter compete in the livestock event. While here, they visited with friends in the valley. They were houseguests of their daughter, Joy Booco and family.
The Ted Copeland family had a visit from the Bonds family from Utah.
As the United States honors the many individuals who have made the ultimate sacrifice this Memorial Day, multiple ceremonies in Moffat County will pay tribute as part of the holiday.
