Christy (Guthrie) Barnes underwent major surgery at the Routt County Memorial Hospital Dec. 15. She is home and progressing nicely.
The Friendship Bible Group held a Christmas party at the home of Mary Jo Barnes Dec. 13 following study. The group enjoyed a pot-luck brunch and gift exchange.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Montieth left for Arizona where they plan to spend the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Shane Camilletti and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Camilletti were in Mesquite, Nev., Dec. 10-12 to play baseball and have some fun.
The Food Mill staff hosted a buffet for their good friends and customers on Dec. 12. The delicious food and visiting was enjoyed by all.
Karen Gilroy and her sister, Glenda Brannan, left last week for Arizona to be with their parents, Kenneth and Carol Rhodes, when they received word their father was quite ill.
Paul McDonald is at home and recuperating from shoulder surgery. He is doing very well and hopes to soon be back to work.
Bridgit Camilletti was home this past weekend from Denver on business.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gilroy left our snowy area for Arizona where they plan to bask in the sunshine until spring.

Routt County hosted its annul Christmas party at the Sheraton in Steamboat Springs Dec. 10 for all employees and spouses.
On Dec. 14, Routt County hosted a farewell party for security screeners at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport.
