Hayden School District seeking community members to serve on District Improvement Team

— The Hayden School District is looking for parents and community members to serve on its District Improvement Team.

The committee meets monthly and helps shape district policies before they are presented to the Hayden School Board, Superintendent Mike Luppes said.

Topics the committee soon will tackle include new teacher evaluation systems under Senate Bill 191 and a proposal to change the way School Board members are elected.

Anyone interested in joining the committee, which includes the superintendent and principals at the schools, is asked to call Luppes at 970-276-3864 and is encouraged to attend a meeting at 4 p.m. Monday in the district’s administrative office.
