Hayden reader of the week: Andrew Pagan

Andrew Pagen is the reader of the week from Hayden.

The Hayden Public Library announced its first Reader of the Week at the annual Summer Reading program for 2015. Andrew Pagan, 9, was chosen as this week’s winner. Andrew has a brother Paul who is 7 years old, and two sisters Natalie, 13, and Kiana, 11. He lives with his grandparents Penny and Joe Coons and dad Craig Pagan. The family also has two black labs Molly and Bella, a Teacup Yorkie Qudy, and cats Haven and Puppy.

Andrew moved to Hayden from Denver two years ago and enjoys playing with his friend Ryley from school.

His favorite color is purple and he enjoys eating steak. Andrew’s favorite movie is “Wild Hogs” and favorite book is “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss. In his free time, Andrew enjoys riding his bike and playing Wii. Andrew played football last school year and enjoys doing multiplication. He would like to play running back for the Broncos when he grows up.

Andrew is looking forward to going camping this summer with his uncle. He was happy when he won for Reader of the Week. He had also won a round of bingo, so it was his lucky week! Andrew chose “ants on a log” for next week’s cooking demonstration.
