Halloween Happenings: Trick-or-treats, ghoulish goodies, family fun

Craig Daily Press Staff Report
If you're looking for a scary good time tonight, visit the American Legion's Haunted House. The whole family is invited to join in the terror, as well as some concessions afterward. The spooky Haunted House is open from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at 1055 Moffat County Road 7. You'll be sure and have a fun sifting through the maze of fright! The Haunted House also offers "no scar" tours for kids.

That magical time of year is upon us, and the Craig community plans to make this Halloween a special one for the child in all of us. Whether your costume is homemade or store-bought, whether you feel like a nut or don’t — Mounds and Almond Joy are sure to be well-stocked as well as every other kind of candy, don’t worry! — or if you want a party that’s packed with kids or caters strictly to ages 21 and older, you can find something among the Craig Daily Press’s Halloween Happenings.

This weekend has a haunted house, festivals and parties galore, and of course the seasonal traditional of giveaways of all kinds of delectable delights, with the people of Northwest Colorado pitching in to make it both safe and fun for even the smallest witch, vampire or clown.

Plan it just right, and you may be able to hit every event on this list.
