Haddan status up in air

— Moffat County High School football player J.T. Haddan was injured early in the Bulldogs’ Thursday night loss at Palisade High School.

Haddan injured his right knee while making a tackle in the Bulldogs’ 36-8 first defeat of the season.

The starting running back/middle linebacker had a Magnetic Resonance Imaging exam Friday in Craig.

J.T.’s mother said the family was still waiting on results.

“They haven’t told us anything yet,” Vicki Haddan said. “We may have to wait until Monday. It’s totally up in the air right now.”

Despite having to change his game plan to accommodate the loss of his senior starter, Moffat County head coach Kip Hafey was optimistic.

“He’s a tough kid,” he said. “If anyone is going to pull through something like this, it will be J.T.”
