To the editor:
I’d like to thank all the Steamboat Springs paramedics, fire squad, Colorado State Patrol troopers, police officers and the firefighter who offered to take our dog and keep him at his house.
I’d also like to thank the Ridgeview Church of God. They received an offering for my family of $2,000. My father and I didn’t ask; they just did it on their own and gave it to my family. It meant the world.
The other driver didn’t have insurance; we only have liability.
We’d just like to thank everyone, including Yampa Valley Medical Center staff.
We knew we were in a small town because everyone pulled together.
