Grand Futures offers free movie night with ‘Avengers’ Thursday

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

Movie fans of all ages, assemble!

Grand Futures Prevention Coalition's series of free family movie nights continues Thursday on the north end of Craig City Park, with "The Avengers" showing as the sun goes down. There is no cost for admission for the family activity, but Grand Futures will be selling popcorn and other concessions.

The movie will start at dusk, and it is recommended that spectators be ready before 8:30 p.m.

Grand Futures Moffat County Director Cassandra Vigil said more than 150 people turned out for June's installment of "Despicable Me 2," and she hopes to see an even bigger crowd for the Marvel superhero flick, pending weather.

The group will offer another movie in the park when they show "Cowboys and Aliens" Aug. 11. Another project in the works is the Dive In movie, which will take place later this month at the Craig Pool Complex.
