The organization, dedicated to countering substance abuse among the youth of Northwest Colorado, will host a free movie night Friday on the north end of Craig City Park.

As the sun begins to go down, the cinematic experience will begin as the screen lights up with “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.”

Grand Futures also will provide concessions sales such as popcorn and beverages for those who attend. Funds raised will go toward Grand Futures.

The activity will be the first of several throughout the summer intended to appeal to the whole family, with a screening of “Gremlins,” at the same time and location July 10.

Another movie, which has yet to be determined, will be shown at Craig City Pool, in conjunction with Craig Parks and Recreation. Attendees also will be able to swim while watching the film.

Admission for this event, “Family Dive-In,” will be $3 for use of the pool, with kids 12 and younger requiring an adult present.
