Moffat County Commission meeting

When: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday

Where: Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way


• 8:30 to 8:35 a.m. Call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, opening prayer

• 8:35 to 8:45 a.m. Consent agenda:

— Review and sign the following documents: May 6 meeting minutes, asphalt contract for Moffat County Road 134 paving project and US Mule credit application.

• 8:45 to 9 a.m. General discussion:

— Note commissioners may discuss any topic relevant to county business whether or not the topic has been specifically noted on the agenda.

— Safety meeting.

• 9 to 9:15 a.m. Discussion with Jerry Hoberg, of Planning and Zoning

— Discuss Adler exemption: E-14-01.

— Discuss Coyner exemption: E-14-02.

— Discuss Ibarra Variance: V-14-01.

• 9:15 to 9:20 a.m. Discussion with the Memorial Hospital and the EMS Department

— Present proclamation for 2014 EMS Week for signature.

• 9:20 to 9:35 a.m. Discussion with Linda DeRose, of the Road and Bridge Department

— Present monthly reports.

— Request waiving the bid process for crack seal materials.

• 9:35 to 9:40 a.m. Discussion with Roy Tipton, of the Office of Development Services

— Present intergovernmental agreement with the city of Craig for Shadow Mountain Village Improvement Project for signature.

Craig City Council meeting

— Approve the renewal of the retail liquor license for Lariat Lee Liquors Inc., at 391 W. Lincoln St. No cause shown for denial.

• Audiences:

— Approve a proclamation designating the month of May 2014 as “Higher Education Month.”

— Approve a proclamation designating the week of May 18 to 24 as “Emergency Medical Services Week.”

— Approve a proclamation designating the week of May 11 to 17 as “Police Week” and designating May 15 as “Peace Officers Memorial Day.”

• Other business:

— Award of bid for 2014 asphalt work.

— Intergovernmental agreement between Moffat County and city of Craig regarding Phase 1 of the Shadow Mountain project.
