1:50 p.m. On the 600 block of Taylor Street, Craig community service officers responded to a code enforcement call. Craig police said a resident was given a verbal warning for an alleged junk and trash violation.
4:38 p.m. At the Moffat County Courthouse, police in Craig responded to an agency assist call. Officers executed a warrant on a 28-year-old Craig man on a warrant from an outside agency.
6:14 p.m. Near the intersection of Lincoln Street and East Seventh Street, police in Craig responded to an assault call. No additional information was available Wednesday.
10:29 p.m. On the 1000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a disturbance call. Officers responded to the old Kmart parking lot area and cited at least one minor for possession of alcohol.

Forest Service investigates Independence Pass snowmobiling case after alleged culprit posted pictures on social media
The U.S. Forest Service opened an investigation Wednesday into a case of two men snowmobiling on snow-free terrain in designated wilderness on Independence Pass after receiving tips that one of the alleged culprits posted pictures of his illegal activity on social media.
