George and Ann Kidder: Humble thanks

Friday night turned into a special evening for Ann and I. While at the State of the County event hosted by the Chamber, we were presented with the Citizens of the Year award. We had no idea this was coming. We looked at each other and had tears in our eyes. Then, when everyone stood and applauded it just blew us away. This was mainly for the Santa and Mrs. Claus work we do, and we would like to thank everyone who nominated and voted for us from our hearts. There are a lot of people behind the scenes who also help to make this work, and to name everyone now would take a lot of time and space, but thank you all. You know who you are. This is something we enjoy doing for the kids, and we have just as much fun with the adults. Again, thank you very much. We will treasure this forever. Also, thank you to Frank for his presentation.
